A wreck early Friday at the 63 mile marker on Interstate 30 near Gurdon killed a Texarkana woman. According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, a 1997 Lincoln was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway on the right shoulder, traveling into a ditch and striking multiple trees.
Killed was a passenger, Jaqueline Cole, 49, of Texarkana. Injured was driver Taylor L. Banks, 24, and another passenger, Therman Bell, 25, both of Texarkana. The injured were taken to U.A.M.S. in Little Rock and St. Vincent in Hot Springs. Corporal Christopher S. Harper investigated..
