Members of the Hope Civitan Club enjoy a short break in their watermelon slicing duties at the Watermelon Festival. The club has taken on the Thursday afternoon shift at the watermelon “stand” for several years and seem to be enjoying their part in a favorite summertime activity — outdoor watermelon eating.
