The Hope Lions heard from one of their own, Bobby Loe, on preventing Identity Theft. Loe, who works for Farmers Bank & Trust, gave some common sense tips on avoiding identity theft. Some of the things he talked about that can reduce your risk of loss from identity theft include reading your credit card statement in a timely manner, knowing your payment due dates, shredding your personal documents, and reviewing your credit report annually. Loe reminded the Lions they can get more tips from their local financial institution.
