The Blevins Fire Dept along with Hope Fire Dept, Perrytown Fire Dept, Washington Fire Dept and Pafford EMS assisted DeAnn Fire Dept with a structure fire in the 300 block of CR 209. We used 3 tanker trucks to shuttle over 28 thousand gallons of water used to extingush the fire. The firefighters battled the fire, freezing temps and icing equipment for over 6 hours with one crew from DeAnn staying all night for fire watch. No injuries were reported. The home suffered heavy damage.
